New Beers Highlight Expanded Menu and Space at Burnt Timber
Nearly doubling its space with a recent expansion, Burnt Timber Brewing & Tavern recently released two new beers that pair well with its equally expansive food menu.
A blonde-colored beer that features a malty sweetness that finishes light, Coffee infused Tripel (9% ABV) is particularly meaningful for Burnt Timber Owner and Head Brewer Eddie Michno. “The coffee infused in this beer is from Humble Beginnings Coffee Co in Boston, whose owner — like me — served in the U.S. Coast Guard,” he stated. “The final product is incredible with all coffee in the nose and a strong Belgian finish.”
In addition to Coffee infused Tripel, Burnt Timber also recently released Spruce Juice (6.2% ABV), a pale ale brewed with spruce tips and maple syrup and then fermented with Kveik (Norwegian farmhouse yeast). Citing both beers as “perfect for summer,” Michno said they pair nicely with an expanding menu as he continues to diversify Burnt Timber’s available services and options.
“We offer on and off-site catering options, private dining, and a menu that addresses the adventurous eater as well as those seeking comfort food,” he said. “Our eclectic beer is the hook, but we are working to create a culinary destination here in Wolfeboro.”
